Long time ago well known London named Londinium that could be interpreted like “the wild place”. Today a former wasteland is well known with its palaces, castles, museums and cathedrals.
London is one of the most attractive cities in the world, reach, beautiful and very interesting. For instance the London “Eye”. It is the highest Ferris wheel in the world – 135 meters! By the way citizens call it “The Eye” because when you are on the top – the whole London is brought into your sight! The best way to make the acquaintance with the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland!
Accept this wonderful “flight” above the city you can get to the modern 4D cinema using the same ticket! To visit London and not to see the Tower is impossible. Famous Tower has seen a lot but its reputation is mostly sinister. For a long time the Tower was a prison for grand people. But there was a time when the Tower of London was the kings’ residence, ammunition depot, treasury, observatory, Record Office and even… zoo that was created for king’s enjoyment. And since XIV century here the Crown Jewels of Great Britain. Another important place for British history is St. Paul’s Cathedral.
